Confusing Reading...

After reading Games: The Extensions of Man...I could not be more confused. So far I was able to understand the part about how the games played by people heightened their reactions for war but most of everything else was kind of dry and didn't appeal to me. Perhaps it was just me though, i can't wait until next class to see what other people think also.

A good way to start would be to list what you think are the interesting points he is making. Write these down as you reread it. For example:

- games are how people cope with the real world

- games are models of the real world

- people become puppets in games

- games are the only form of art accessible to many minds

etc.

These are just examples.


Then think about how these points apply to computer games.
