my final project is to design a basketball game called 3 on 3 tournament. I feel the packages' graphics for the existing sport games out there are very boring, the show nothing but some still shots of athletes. It's lack of the emotional, competitive elements. I intend to redesign an imaginary street basketball game which takes place from street courts all over the world. For the cover, I tried to avoid the obvious of the usual basketball player. Instead i used a photo from a basketball court in Brooklyn. Empty court, the mentally of isolation, since it's a 3 on 3 b-ball game. I also incorporated the actual game plays within the graphic elements thin lines that represent movement, the triangles and crosses represents the players or buttons. In the back of the cover is a pair of hand holding tight to the basketball, which convey a sense of passion and respect of the game.
