Interactive Storytelling

According to the reading the components in Storytron that create an interactive narrative are:
Actors- characters with variety of attributes and characteristics
Verb- action that could be taken by the character
Stages-Location where action take place
Events- action taken by the character
Storytron allow the story builder to use the most likely scenario to play out a specific action. The story builder uses the components above to create a plot for the story and it allows the character to react emotionally to other character. Players are able to experience drama through the different option or possibility within the plot created by the story builder.
The Storytron focus on the event within the story and allow the player to have different dramatic option created by the story builder for the story world.
Some of the method describe in the reading are not very effective because some lack drama/plot and others are not really interactive, lacking possibility in the plot and emotional reaction in the character.
The site didn’t have a lot of information that help explain how it works, I would like to know how the characters can react to each other emotionally.
