Through the game the player learn to think strategically to react to different situations and that each decision the player makes affect the outcome/result (chain reaction). Because this game is about using non-violent movement (avoid violence), to accomplish ones goals, using violent or illegal tactics has potential consequences. In the game the player or the movement play against the computer, the Regime.
The occurrence of violence depends on how the Regime reacts to the situation and the movements non-violent discipline. Inherently violent tactics are only available to the Regime, but some tactics used by the movement can become violent resulting in casualties and other negative effects.
